I am a micro-branding guy. I hesitate to say I’m a marketer, because I have gradually developed disdain for the general concept of a marketer and salesman. Perhaps I’ve grown to have a bit of a bad attitude on that front.

Rather than be an internet marketer and copywriter, I steered in the direction of a branding guy. I’m aware that’s basically still marketing and sales but its an interesting and important segment of it without getting too drilled into straight up sales. It’s definitely all somewhat related though I have to admit. And there’s nothing wrong with being honed in on copywriting and sales. I just wouldn’t consider myself a great salesman because I generally dislike the manipulation and subversion you’ll see in those circles sometimes. Especially online. Which I talk about from time to time but that’s enough for now.

Anyway, I like to specialize in small business and personal branding. Helping small time guys compete with the big time brands and marketing machines of competitors. Helping local business people looking to establish a solid brand. Or simply utilizing the art of branding to help break through in your own personal business, whether it be freelancing, online marketing, an Etsy store, or side hustle. I guess even an even social media influencers utilize the concepts around branding.
