Can you fake branding?

I don’t know I guess you could try.

I wouldn’t recommend it though.

The internet has made fake branding a lot easier to pull off. Especially personal branding and things like that. Like I could be a complete fraud. This could be written with AI and I am just a guy in India.

My picture and actual name on the site, and video and such, and the obvious technical problems with my writing probably indicate I am who I am representing myself to be.

My “brand” is at least honest if nothing else.

If you care about long term and authentic impact  in the world you must be honest and real in your branding. You really shouldn’t pretend to be anything you aren’t in actual reality.

If you can be honest, authentic, and consistent you pretty well immediately set yourself apart from the hordes of nonsense internet accounts that hardly have a real person behind it much less someone who is actually what they say they are. And someone who would interact with you outside of a computer autoresponder.

Faking has real costs, especially in the long term. Honorable marketing is going to have more and more value in the future as well. I think that’s obvious but maybe it isn’t obvious to everyone.
